I discovered drifting while flipping through the channels on a Sunday afternoon to find coverage of Formula D on Speed T.V. After traveling out to Wall, N.J. to see an event live I knew I had to give it a try. I bought a car the following year and spent my time with my eyes and ears open at a local track, Beaverun, trying to learn as much as I could about cars and the sport of Drifting. I fell in love with drifting at Wall, N.J. but I knew I was hooked after receiving a warm welcome by it’s participants and attendees. The support and knowledge that was extended to me by the drift crowd pushed me to continue to devote everything I had to the sport. My fourth year of drifting, 2010, I decided to travel to new tracks and engage in my first year of competition. I took a few podium finishes at the Streetwise ProAm series,a first place in the Civil War tandem competition at Summit Point Racetrack, and first place in the team tandem competition at the same event. These few victories fueled my passion to win, but more importantly I saw the fun and excitement the sport was bringing to all those involved and I want to continue to do everything I can to grow the sport of drifting.
