From mountain roads, to drag racing, to autocross, to open track days, David has always had a passion for high performance cars and driving. When the chance came to drive in an Atlanta-based drifting event in 2004, he jumped on it…and was immediately hooked. After a few years, David soon realized that the car he was driving (a Honda S2000) was holding him back. He needed more power and a better platform for drifting, so he made the move to American muscle. In early 2007 he obtained his current chassis, a new 2007 Ford Mustang GT. Over time, and thanks to the help and support of his loving wife and all of his spectacular friends in the Atlanta drifting community, both he and the car have come a long way. Though still new to competitions, David’s driving continues to improve. He looks forward to much growth, learning, and success in the 2011 season, with the ultimate goal of earning his Formula D License, thanks to the support of ASD.
